We planted herbs. We had to go to the greenhouse to get the soil.
Today we had a visit from Lucille. She works at The Ulster Wildlife. Over this year we will be looking at the park and how it changes over the year. We will plant seeds, bulbs and plants. We will learn about the animals that can be found in the park. Today we looked at a squirrel and an owl.
We are looking forward to our trips to the park.
As part of our topic, Food for Thought, we will be finding out where food comes from, tasting it and cooking with our ingredients.
Here are some photos of us tasting the food and finding out how some fruit and vegetables are grown.
The final day of Summer Scheme 2019
Key Stage 1 and P5 had Jump, Jiggle and Jive, Blackberry Farm and Charmaine's drama.
P6/7s and KS3 had drama with Charmaine, Blackberry Farm and a disco with Denis as our DJ.
KS4+ had Blackberry Farm, games with Denis and the disco.
I think the photos speak for themselves! We all had a brilliant time! Thanks to all of the staff for making it run so smooth.
