Secondary pupils throughout Fleming Fulton have had the privilege of working with the printmaking artist Anushiya Sundaralingham, and with their peers from our local partner schools. The project is wide and varied covering techniques including collograph, monoprinting, drypoint etching, block printing and will also include feltmaking in the new year. So far we have welcomed pupils from St.Colm’s, Hunter House, Malone Integrated College, St.Brides Primary and we are looking forward to welcoming classes from our close neighbours Glenveagh and Oakwood schools. The project has been very exciting so far and we are looking forward to the rest of our workshops throughout January.
The artworks created in this inclusive project (which are broadly based on the theme “One World”) will be exhibited for the public to enjoy in the Waterfront Hall Belfast throughout the month on March 2010.
